Greetings:
 
The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) is seeking public
input regarding the Statewide Transportation Plan, Transaction II.
Transaction II provides broad strategic direction for collaborative
transportation efforts across all modes. The plan identifies the state' s
goals, initiatives, and strategies for achieving a transportation system
that safely, securely, and efficiently moves people and goods. 
 
A series of twenty open-house format meetings, each lasting one and a half
hours, will be held around the state from October 30 to November 9 seeking
comments from the public. Representatives from NDDOT will be available to
answer questions and address public concerns.  The schedule is as follows:
 
Monday October 30 -- Fort Yates -- Prairie Knights Casino, 9:00-10:30 am CST
                                Hettinger -- Adams County Courthouse,
1:30-3:00 pm MST

Your input is critical to the success of this plan.  If you cannot attend
any of the open-house meetings, comments may still be submitted until
