I thought I heard you will need a passport to get into Canada now...it takes
about 60 days to get one, so if one is actually needed they better get the
wheels in motion (pun intended!).

Subject: [ndcf] Red River International Bike Tour
Hi, I am with the Red River International Bike Tour
(RRIBT). I have just come across your website and wanted to share some
information about a new bike tour. This tour starts in East Grand Forks,
North Dakota and stretches for 316 miles. Beginning in the heart of the Red
River Valley of the North, tour members will cycle past rich grain fields
and witness the vast beauty of plains that seem to go on forever. As the
route angles northward, the flatlands are punctuated by the rolling beaches
of glacial Lake Agassiz. The tour continues into the Turtle Mountains, but
inexperienced riders shouldn't worry, the North Dakota version of mountains
simply adds variety to your day as you peddle through the beautiful hills of
the Pembina Gorge. For those who choose to cycle into Canada instead, the
international flavor of the area will subtly contrast with the similarities
on the United States side of the border. The route moves southward along the
eastern side of the Red River Valley in Minnesota, giving the rider yet
another view of the idyllic countryside with its rolling terrain. Overnights
on the tour will be spent in beautiful, well-maintained state parks
throughout the area, providing riders with a peaceful rest at the end of
each day.
The tour dates are June 18-22, 2007. We could create a link from our
website (http://www.RRIBT.com) to yours as well. Also, if you wold be
interested in this tour. Please email us back and hopefully we could work
something out. Thanks, and hope to hear from you soon!
