[ndcf] Upcoming Bis-Man meeting/event

Greetings!

Just passing on notice of a couple bicycling-related items in Bismarck/Mandan...

1.  On September 24th (next Monday), the bike commuter advocacy group will be reinitiating their efforts after a successful first year.  They will be meeting at the Bismarck Public Library (Room B, downstairs) from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.  If you commute by bike, this is a great opportunity to engage in a community effort that will benefit yourself as well as current and future bike commuters.

2.  Saturday, October 6th is IMBA's 'Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day'.  To celebrate this event, there will be a fun ride along the Missouri River Nature Trail in Mandan beginning at 2:00 p.m.  The plan is to ride about 45 minutes, and then return to the trailhead for refreshments and drawings for prizes.  There is no cost to participate.  Details can be found at www.ndcycling.com.
