[ndcf] Upcoming Bismarck Elections

Greetings Everyone!

As we get closer to the upcoming June election I wanted to pass along some
important information regarding our Bismarck Park Board race.  As local
cyclists this year we have one of our own running for a Park Board seat -
Brian Beattie.  Brian has been active in the cycling community for the past
20+ years in the Bismarck area along with being also active in every aspect
of community recreation imaginable including soccer, gymnastics, the arts,
track & field among others.   He has been an avid supporter of all areas of
recreation in our community and has many hours of sweat equity in our local
mountain bike trails that we all enjoy.  I am urging you to support Brian by
giving him your vote for our Bismarck Park Board on June 10.  Along with
Brian, Mark Zimmerman is running for re-election to the Park Board - Mark as
well is a cyclist, mountain biker and has been an a strong supporter of all
recreation in the area.

 

Mark & Brian will bring to the board logical, level headed, responsible
decision making for the future of our local parks.  Bismarck is the
wonderful place to live because of our great park system.  Unfortunately the
other candidates presently running for the board don't see it that way.  If
any of these other candidates are elected we will see a dramatic negative
change in all aspects of our local parks and recreation.  I urge you to not
let that happen and give Mark Zimmerman and Brian Beattie your support and
your vote on June 10.  If you by chance live out of the city limits you can
still help by passing the word along to family, friends, and other cyclists
in Bismarck.
